Accountant – Sustainable Fashion Brand

About the role

Ordinaree, a sustainable clothing brand, is looking for a dedicated Accountant to manage its day‑to‑day financial operations. Based in Jaipur, you will work on‑site with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate bookkeeping, timely invoicing, and sound financial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate ledgers and process invoices, accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and perform regular account reconciliations.
• Prepare periodic financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor costs, optimise cash flow, and support production, sourcing and operational decisions.
• Coordinate with external auditors or consultants as needed.
• Help improve financial processes and internal controls.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial accounting, general ledger management and account reconciliation.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable, invoicing and expense tracking.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of taxation rules, compliance requirements and basic audit procedures.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy and solid organisational skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field; CA, CMA or similar certification is a plus.
• Experience in retail, fashion or manufacturing and an interest in sustainability are preferred.
