About the role
The Accountant will manage daily financial transactions using Tally Prime, ensuring accurate recording of all purchase, sales, receipt, and payment activities. This role supports the finance team by maintaining reconciliations, handling GST accounting, and keeping comprehensive financial records.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain day‑to‑day accounting entries in Tally Prime, covering purchases, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and update bank, ledger, and vendor/customer reconciliations.
- Perform GST‑related accounting, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
- Assist in the preparation and verification of GST data and related reports.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, bills, vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Verify invoices for accuracy and ensure correct accounting entries.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
