Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to manage the day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations of our branch in Punalur, Kerala. The role involves handling billing, cash, stock transfers and purchase entries while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks, including billing, cash handling, stock transfers, and purchase entry.
• Perform cash closing, bank reconciliations and handle RTGS/NEFT transactions.
• Prepare and finalise balance sheets, profit & loss statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Support month‑end closing, journal entry preparation and balance‑sheet account reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and implement internal control mechanisms.
• Oversee taxation processes and related financial activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Age between 20 and 35 years.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally and SAP (preferred).
• Knowledge of RTGS/NEFT transaction handling.
