Accountant – Finance & Reporting

About the role

Intel is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its Finance Group in Bangalore. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and delivering insightful analysis that drives strategic decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, ledger accounts, and internal reporting for revenue, sales, tax, and statutory requirements.
• Lead audit engagements, coordinate with senior auditors, external auditors, and government authorities.
• Validate month‑end accounts, ensure data integrity, and respond to management or auditor inquiries.
• Develop and update finance policies, internal controls, and accounting standards to ensure compliance with reporting standards.
• Define the accounting system roadmap, gather system requirements, and collaborate with programming resources for system development.
• Support local corporate tax compliance, statutory filing, and act as the primary contact for accounting‑related matters.
• Assist business partners with accounting automation projects and cross‑functional transaction accounting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional degree in Accountancy.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a global organization, preferably with external audit exposure.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory reporting.

Required skills

• SAP S4 (experience or knowledge).
