Accountant – Accounts & Taxation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team at Infopark, Koratty. The position supports Australian accounting and bookkeeping activities, including preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, year‑end accounting, taxation work and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, working papers and supporting schedules.
• Perform bank, credit card, loan and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries, year‑end adjustments and depreciation schedules.
• Review bookkeeping records and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with taxation‑related working papers and compliance activities.
• Support monthly, quarterly and year‑end financial reporting.
• Assist with payroll and related accounting activities where required.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Work closely with the Senior Accountant to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• B.Com, M.Com or another recognised Accounting/Finance qualification.
• CA Inter, CMA Inter, ACCA or similar qualification is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience in an accounting firm, CA practice or outsourced accounting environment preferred.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as part of a team.
