About the role
LinkedIn is seeking an Account Director for Online Sales to lead strategic advertising initiatives in the Growth and Mid‑Market segment. Based in Mumbai, you will work in a hybrid model, combining remote work with on‑site collaboration to drive client success and internal performance.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage relationships with strategic online advertising clients and agencies.
- Lead strategic marketing conversations, providing optimization recommendations to meet client objectives.
- Experiment with, codify, and scale optimization techniques that improve performance and generate incremental revenue.
- Share concise updates on internal and external initiatives, highlighting business impact and next steps.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure a consistent customer experience and identify product/feature improvements.
- Drive revenue through successful upselling and cross‑selling.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for your book of business using LinkedIn’s tools.
Required profile
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in digital or media sales.
- Proven ability to manage and customize recommendations for a large customer base.
- Strong track record of upselling and cross‑selling to drive revenue.
- Data‑driven decision‑making and business opportunity assessment.
- Excellent time‑management, prioritisation, and deadline‑orientation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a positive client‑facing attitude.
- Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
