Windows Server Administrator – Pune

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Windows Server Administrator to join our client’s IT team in Pune. The role involves ensuring high availability and optimal performance of Windows server environments, supporting 24/7 operations and collaborating with vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor Windows Server platforms (2008‑2022) to achieve maximum uptime.
• Implement security hardening measures in line with established guidelines.
• Manage Active Directory Group Policy Objects and core server roles such as DNS and DHCP.
• Support and troubleshoot Windows clustering, virtualization, networking and storage solutions.
• Coordinate hardware issues with vendors and oversee physical server maintenance.
• Participate in change management, incident resolution and service request handling within SLA targets.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of hands‑on experience administering Windows Server environments.
• Strong knowledge of security hardening, GPO management and Windows clustering.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 BAU support team and communicate effectively with vendors.
