Structural Steel Modeler (Tekla)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Modeler to join our dedicated Steel team. The role involves creating detailed 3D models in Tekla Structures based on structural and architectural drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client standards.

Key responsibilities

• Model structural and architectural drawings, preparing custom components, connections, and assemblies.
• Develop and maintain 3D models in Tekla, adhering to contract design drawings, specifications, and client standards.
• Perform preliminary model reviews, including clash detection and coordination checks.
• Identify transportation and erection challenges and propose practical solutions.
• Generate General Arrangement, shop, erection drawings, material reports, and NC files from the model.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in structural steel detailing using 3D modeling software.
• Proven experience with Tekla Structures on US commercial projects.
• Familiarity with CISC and AISC codes for at least 3 years.
