Operations Manager

About the role

JMT Consultants Detailing Private Limited, a global design and detailing firm, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead its Steel Detailing team in Noida. The role focuses on ensuring efficient operational procedures, driving productivity, and maintaining high quality standards across complex steel projects.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure operational procedures run efficiently, sustainably, and support overall business profitability.
• Supervise day‑to‑day managerial functions, set training standards, and improve organizational processes.
• Write, edit, and review operational policies and process documentation.
• Oversee reporting, planning, and coordination with Project Managers to meet delivery schedules.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring control points, implementing cost reductions, and correcting process malfunctions.
• Conduct periodic quality checks of drawings/models and ensure compliance with client standards.
• Lead and motivate the team, conduct review meetings, and resolve critical operational issues.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in the steel detailing industry, with at least 10 years in project management.
• B.Tech/B.E. in Civil or Mechanical engineering (or equivalent postgraduate qualifications).
• Advanced knowledge of Tekla Structures and familiarity with AISC & CISC standards.
• Proven experience on commercial US projects and strong communication skills.
