Staff Nurse – Multispecialty Hospital

About the role

Revanta Hospital, a 30‑bed multispecialty centre in Chennai, is seeking dedicated Staff Nurses to join its diabetes‑care and acute‑care teams. The role involves delivering safe, compassionate, evidence‑based nursing care across emergency, ICU and OT settings while adhering to hospital policies and NABH standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients according to clinical protocols and hospital standards.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and accurately document patient condition, vital signs and progress.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, assist in resuscitation and escalate critical situations as required.
• Support doctors during examinations, procedures, surgeries and post‑operative care.
• For OT‑assigned nurses: manage pre‑operative, intra‑operative and post‑operative patient care while following OT protocols.
• For ICU‑assigned nurses: monitor critically ill patients, detect changes and deliver care per ICU guidelines.

Required profile

• GNM or B.Sc. Nursing (mandatory) with valid State Nursing Council registration.
• 1–4 years of clinical nursing experience; preference for ER, ICU or OT exposure.
• Willingness to work in a three‑shift rotation.
• Commitment to infection control, patient safety and quality standards.
