Medical Laboratory Technician

About the role

Revanta Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join its diagnostic team. The role involves performing routine laboratory tests, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety in a multispecialty hospital environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyse patient samples according to standard laboratory procedures.
• Perform haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and other routine investigations.
• Ensure proper labelling, handling, and storage of specimens.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Maintain quality control procedures and verify accuracy of test results.
• Follow infection control, biomedical waste management, and laboratory safety protocols.
• Maintain laboratory records, documentation, and inventory of reagents and consumables.
• Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for timely reporting of critical test results.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and NABH guidelines.

Required profile

• DMLT or B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) qualification.
• 1–3 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory or multispecialty hospital.
• Knowledge of laboratory quality standards, infection control, and NABH protocols.
