Hospital Pharmacist

About the role

Revanta Hospital is seeking a qualified Hospital Pharmacist to join its multidisciplinary team. The role involves ensuring accurate medication dispensing, supporting safe medication practices, and providing guidance to patients and healthcare staff in a 30‑bed multispecialty setting.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
• Verify prescriptions for completeness and appropriateness before dispensing.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects.
• Maintain proper storage and handling of medicines according to regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry dates.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with NABH standards, statutory regulations, and hospital policies.
• Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff to support safe medication management.
• Participate in regular stock audits and inventory reconciliation.

Required profile

• Valid D.Pharm or B.Pharm degree (mandatory).
• Active registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
• 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
• Knowledge of NABH standards, drug storage, and inventory management.
