Senior Manager of Global Payments

About the role

Senior Manager of Global Payments at Pebl will lead a team of accounts payable specialists, overseeing end‑to‑end payment operations for a global workforce. Based in Bengaluru, the role is highly visible to leadership and blends strategic, tactical and operational responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full payments lifecycle, providing strategic direction to global accounts payable, including invoice automation, vendor onboarding and intercompany settlements.
• Maintain consistent AP policies and controls across subsidiaries and review journal entries, pre‑payment requests and batch payments.
• Manage daily AP mailboxes, oversee weekly payment runs, and partner with Treasury, Procurement and Finance on month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Drive a customer‑oriented payments journey, ensuring speed, reliability and ease of use, and hold internal partners accountable to SLAs.
• Lead payment operations, identifying and resolving friction points, and improve exception handling, retries, reversals and escalations.

Required profile

• Masters in Finance/Commerce or BA/BS in Accounting/Finance with 7‑10 years leading global payment operations and vendor management.
• Strong executive presence, vendor management discipline and ability to coach a high‑performing team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work across global time zones.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
• Experience using NetSuite.
• Familiarity with ZIP (payment processing platform).
