Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial & Compliance

About the role

Orvera AI is looking for a seasoned Senior Legal Counsel to join its growing team. This role will lead enterprise commercial contracting, strengthen compliance frameworks, and partner closely with business teams in a fast‑paced AI and SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage enterprise commercial agreements such as MSAs, SaaS Subscription Agreements, DPAs, BAAs, NDAs, SLAs, and vendor/partner contracts.
• Advise on commercial, legal and regulatory matters, balancing business objectives with legal risk.
• Drive compliance initiatives related to GDPR, CCPA, DPDP, TCPA, HIPAA and other applicable regulations.
• Develop contract templates, negotiation playbooks and internal legal processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Security, Finance and Leadership to support enterprise customer engagements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of relevant legal experience with significant in‑house experience in a B2B SaaS or technology company.
• Strong expertise in enterprise commercial contracting, data privacy, intellectual property and compliance.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers, especially US‑based clients, is highly preferred.
• Exposure to AI, automation or emerging technology regulations is an added advantage.
• Passion for working at the intersection of AI, technology and enterprise law.
