Senior Analyst – Commercial Planning & Analytics

About the role

The Senior Analyst – GBS Commercial will own and manage the demand planning process for the assigned market, collaborating closely with supply planning and commercial teams. You will drive improvements in forecast accuracy and process efficiency while supporting strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions to business issues, managing statistical baseline forecasts and achieving high forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with country/market demand planning partners to define optimal forecasting strategies.
• Analyze trends, seasonality, and product life cycles to select appropriate statistical models.
• Perform ABC‑XYZ analysis, outlier cleansing, and root‑cause analysis to ensure accurate base forecasts.
• Validate and correct forecasts generated from the o9 platform, addressing supply‑demand mismatches.
• Participate in market‑level S&OP meetings from a demand planning perspective.
• Maintain master data in o9 (item creation, EOL status, active/inactive flags).
• Build and sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders across daily, weekly, and monthly reporting cycles.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in any discipline; post‑graduate diploma or certification in supply chain or analytics.
• 2‑3 years of professional experience in demand planning or forecasting for seasonal and non‑seasonal products.
• Experience in FMCG, retail insights, analytics, or consulting environments.
• Proven ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and communicate findings in English.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
