Production Shift Leader

About the role

The Production Shift Leader will oversee daily manufacturing operations at Bosch's RBAI plant in Bengaluru, ensuring that production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Meet production targets with strict adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
• Analyse loss contributors and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure operators follow work and handling instructions.
• Provide on‑job training for new associates and promote multi‑skilling.
• Lead shift‑level communication covering safety, quality and production topics.
• Conduct regular audits and layer‑process confirmations.
• Implement and uphold quality standards, using systematic problem‑solving methods such as 5 Why and PSS.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and control.
• Execute Bosch Production System (BPS) standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Perform failure analysis, manage CAPA, and handle internal complaints.
• Carry out 5S audits and support CIP projects.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical engineering.
• 3 to 7 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of production processes and quality systems.
• Ability to train and motivate shop‑floor staff.
