Legal Counsel II – General Corporate

About the role

Swiggy is seeking a Legal Counsel II to support its General Corporate function. The role involves providing legal expertise across a range of commercial agreements and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting new business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, licensing, vendor, advertising, endorsement, marketing and sponsorship contracts.
• Support new business initiatives and project teams with legal evaluation.
• Research applicable regulatory laws and prepare preliminary in‑house opinions.
• Review print, social media and other marketing communications for legal compliance.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing policies, terms and conditions related to offers, business operations and services.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in general corporate law, preferably from a leading law firm or in‑house at a multinational corporation.
• Strong ability to analyse contracts and understand fundamental legal provisions of commercial agreements.
• Excellent attention to detail and capacity to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Ability to work autonomously while communicating effectively with cross‑functional teams and senior management.
• Proactive attitude, willing to take ownership of new projects with minimal supervision.
