Junior Production Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Production Engineer to join our steel fabrication and industrial racking production team. The role involves overseeing shift operations, ensuring safety, discipline, attendance and meeting production targets. Candidates should have 2‑5 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Handle dedicated production and sub‑contract activities, providing daily production output.
• Manage complete shift operations, supervise workmen, and ensure loading operations follow the plan.
• Monitor attendance, work allocation, and prioritize jobs or part marks during loading.
• Verify shipper details and job specifications before loading and ensure phase‑wise job closure.
• Educate operators and staff on priority items and maintain shift continuity.

Required profile

• Age 24‑30 years with 2‑5 years of workforce management experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Strong supervisory and people‑management skills.
• Ability to meet targets and understand priority requirements.
• Good communication, influencing and convincing abilities.

Required skills

• Plate cutting knowledge.
• Bus body fabrication experience.
• Industrial racking fabrication expertise.
