Electrician – Level III

About the role

The Level III Electrician is responsible for troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing and maintaining electrical systems to ensure equipment availability and safety in a manufacturing environment. The role works independently, coaches junior staff, and supports preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical equipment including transformers, HT/LT breakers, UPS, PLC, VFD and HMI systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, report hazards and use appropriate PPE.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, update maintenance records and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage spare parts inventory, monitor equipment uptime, and conduct root‑cause analysis using RCA methodology.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of relevant experience in electrical/electronics maintenance within an industrial setting.
• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics, or equivalent secondary education with sufficient experience.
• Proven ability to work safely with high‑voltage systems and industrial machinery.
• Experience with PLC, HMI, VFD programming, and automation control systems.
