Design Engineer (Mechanical – Siemens NX)

Job description
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using Siemens NX.
- Perform Machine, Gear, Sheet metal and Shaft Design calculations and optimization.
- Design and develop casting and machined components for manufacturability and performance.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles effectively in product design.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and production.
- Support prototype development, validation, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in design reviews, root cause analysis, and value engineering projects.
