Design Engineer

The role involves acquiring deep knowledge of KONE equipment, technical design, and product limitations while delivering engineering solutions for elevator projects.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain knowledge of KONE equipment, technical design, and product limitations.
• Analyze contracts and specifications to develop engineering solutions.
• Prepare design and manufacturing drawings as required.
• Integrate safety, maintenance, manufacturability, and environmental sustainability into design processes.
• Maintain timely communication of engineering progress to stakeholders.
• Participate actively in team meetings and knowledge‑sharing activities.
• Deliver assigned tasks independently and on schedule.
• Contribute to global engineering initiatives and adhere to change‑management protocols.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the elevator industry.
• Experience with EN codes and a manufacturing background are added advantages.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Creo (sheet‑metal modelling and handling large assemblies).
• Basic proficiency in MS Office.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD (advantage).
