Verification & Validation Engineer – Safety Testing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Verification & Validation (V&V) System Engineer to lead safety testing for next‑generation automotive systems. The role will define and execute end‑to‑end V&V strategies, drive test automation, and ensure functional safety compliance across global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own V&V strategies for ADAS and autonomous driving features.
• Design and implement test architectures for SIL, HIL and vehicle testing.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks and libraries.
• Integrate sensor data interfaces and automotive software (AUTOSAR) into test setups.
• Conduct functional safety, security and degradation testing in line with ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure continuous integration and continuous testing using CI tools.

Required profile

• 9–11 years of experience in automotive safety testing and test automation.
• Strong knowledge of ADAS sensors (camera, radar, ultrasonic) and their data interfaces.
• Hands‑on experience with HIL platforms such as dSPACE, Vector or ETAS.
• Familiarity with functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and automotive development processes (ASPICE).

• Automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, restbus simulation.
• Diagnostics: UDS, XCP, DoIP.
• AUTOSAR, SIL/HIL/Vehicle test architecture.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure Cloud, GitHub.
• REST/FAST APIs and system integration testing.
