Senior Contract Expert – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Contract Expert to lead contractual matters for AECOM’s flagship bridge project – the longest extra‑dosed cable‑stay bridge in India, spanning 19.20 km over the Brahmaputra River. The role involves overseeing all contract‑related activities for large highway and major bridge projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all contractual aspects of large highway and major bridge projects.
• Handle variation orders, contractor claims and dispute resolution.
• Support procurement processes, including bidding document preparation and tender assistance.
• Manage arbitration and contract administration matters, ensuring compliance with multilateral and bilateral funding agency requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of contract management experience on bridges and highways, with at least two projects exceeding INR 1,750 Crores.
• Experience in at least three countries, including two years abroad.
• Graduate degree in Civil Engineering; additional qualifications such as LLB or construction‑management certificates are desirable.
• Age not exceeding 60 years.
