Process Architecture Specialist

About the role

The Process Architecture Specialist (CSA) will join Jacobs project teams to design and plan pharmaceutical and life‑science facilities. You will work directly with clients to understand their needs, develop concept layouts and master plans, and secure client approval for the chosen design direction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural layout and site master‑plan options.
• Develop architectural narratives, flow diagrams, schedules and room data sheets.
• Implement cGMP requirements and support permitting, tender and specification documentation.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, engineering practices and contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture recognised by the Council of Architecture.
• Minimum 16 years of experience in pharmaceutical/life‑science facility design.
• Licensed Architect (AIA) with strong knowledge of building codes and specifications.
• In‑depth understanding of layout development for API, sterile, OSD, bio‑pharma, gene‑therapy and R&D labs.
• Familiarity with NBC and major statutory/regulatory bodies (MIDC, KSIIC, HSIIDC, etc.).
