Pharmacist / Senior Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist (including Senior level) to join our reputable pharmacy in Visakhapatnam. The role involves accurate dispensing of medicines, providing expert drug advice, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions, label and package them properly.
• Provide expert counsel on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of commercial drugs and keep the pharmacy stock refreshed.
• Handle prescriptions with precision, adhering to regulatory compliance.
• Deliver excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries professionally.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management.
• Ensure secure storage of medicines and monitor expired inventory.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organization for efficient operation.

Required profile

• D. Pharm, B.Pharm or M.Pharm degree.
• Registered with the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

Required skills

• Updated knowledge of commercial drugs.
• Prescription handling.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
