About the role
The Learning & Development Manager will align training and development initiatives with The Ritz-Carlton’s mission and brand standards. This role focuses on performance development, leadership growth, and delivery of brand‑specific learning for hourly associates, supervisors, and leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor core and brand training programs for all employee levels.
- Act as subject‑matter expert on brand and leadership development tools, guiding leaders in their use.
- Ensure compliance with all mandatory training, collaborating with HR and Operations leaders.
- Utilize learning technology platforms and oversee Learning Coordinator activities.
- Conduct needs assessments, partner with continental learning teams, and deliver custom and corporate training.
- Measure training effectiveness and report ROI.
Required profile
- 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with at least 2 years of HR or related experience, **or** a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with trainer certification and no experience required.
- Certified trainer status.
Required skills
- Knowledge of learning technology platforms.
- Ability to conduct training needs assessments.
- Experience delivering both on‑property and corporate training programs.
