Human Resources Business Manager – Workforce Lifecycle

About the role

We are looking for a Human Resources Business Manager to lead the full lifecycle management of our contractual and permanent blue‑collar workforce in a large warehouse/plant environment. The role partners closely with business leaders to drive performance, culture and diversity while ensuring compliance with labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end lifecycle of contractual workforce (≈70% of time) and on‑roll employees (≈20%).
• Lead and contribute to national/zone HR projects, focusing on diversity, culture and performance management.
• Develop and implement best‑practice HR processes, retention strategies and employee networks for a blue‑collar workforce of 2,000+.
• Act as change‑management guardian for any people‑related initiatives and create analytical tools and reports.
• Identify HR intervention needs, design programs and ensure timely execution of HR projects.
• Collaborate with HR stakeholders to promote capabilities and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required profile

• MBA in Human Resources or related field (MSW preferred).
• 10‑12 years of experience as an HR Business Partner in FMCG, e‑commerce, pharma, manufacturing or beverage sectors.
• Proven track record of volume/mass hiring and managing large blue‑collar workforces (≈2,000+ employees).
• Hands‑on experience anchoring Employee Relations / Industrial Relations initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and successful handling of labour issues.
• Experience overseeing warehouses or plants ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 sq ft.
