Executive I – Retail Sales (Project Sales) – Rajkot

About the role

The Executive I – Retail Sales role is a frontline sales manager position focused on driving project‑sales across multiple segments in Rajkot. The incumbent will combine strong customer focus with the ability to understand secondary and primary sales dynamics, nurturing networks and stakeholders to meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct planning and analysis for all project‑sales segments and prepare growth plans.
• Identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives to increase market share across key accounts, segments, geographies and products.
• Build and maintain relationships with builders, architects, consultants and other key stakeholders.
• Engage and develop applicators through loyalty programmes, promotions and business‑development activities.
• Expand the network of applicators loyal to Asian Paints while nurturing existing partners.
• Improve market practices and customer experience via contractor professionalisation and automated tools.
• Liaise with marketing for feedback, activations and competition tracking.
• Coordinate with retail, services, commercial and supply‑chain teams to ensure lead generation, timely service, freight cost control and material availability.
• Monitor input utilisation and manage stock requirements.
• Lead and develop the immediate sales team to achieve business growth.

Required profile

• MBA or PGDM in Sales & Marketing from a Tier‑II B‑School with at least 50 % marks and no backlogs.
• Full‑time graduation and post‑graduation.
• Strong product knowledge, analytical ability and innovative negotiation skills.
• Impactful communication, execution excellence and people‑leadership competencies.
• Willingness to travel pan‑India as required.
