Drug Safety Associate

About the role
Accenture is seeking a Drug Safety Associate to join its Life Sciences R&D vertical. The role focuses on pharmacovigilance operations, ensuring the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products through systematic monitoring and analysis of adverse event data.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage case identification, data entry, and MedDRA coding for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
- Process cases, submit reports, and perform follow‑ups in the safety database according to client guidelines and global regulatory requirements.
- Support detection, assessment, and prevention of adverse drug effects by analyzing data from clinical trials, healthcare providers, and patients.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with pharmacovigilance regulations.
Required profile
- BSc or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
- 1‑3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety surveillance.
- Familiarity with safety database workflows and regulatory reporting standards.
Required skills
- Pharmacovigilance operations.
- MedDRA coding.
- Case management and ICSR processing.
