Deputy Manager – Trade Promotion Management

About the role

The Deputy Manager – TPM will support the North America Beverage organization of Pepsi Beverages Company. This position is responsible for managing trade promotion deductions, analysing invoices, and ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors. The role collaborates closely with sales, finance and control teams to optimise trade spend and maintain compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Process and reconcile payment and deduction invoices, monitoring stakeholder approvals and timeliness.
• Analyse invoices, break down by segmentation, and ensure timely closure of tactics post‑payment.
• Validate tactic pricing against pricing grids and identify any discrepancies.
• Track payments and funding for vendors, communicating risks and opportunities to sales, control and finance.
• Maintain accurate payment data in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Drive continuous improvement, standardisation of reporting and automation of processes.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of experience in finance or sales, preferably within a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, marketing or finance; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience working with large data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration and organisational skills.
• Proactive, results‑driven and able to manage multiple priorities.
