Continental Commis – Food & Beverage

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Continental Commis to join our food and beverage team at a Marriott hotel in Vagator, Goa. The role involves preparing and cooking a variety of continental dishes while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling and measuring.
• Cook and assemble dishes according to recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers safely.
• Monitor food temperatures, test doneness and ensure compliance with food safety checklists.
• Set up and break down work stations, serve portions, and maintain a clean and disinfected kitchen area.
• Follow company safety policies, report incidents and maintain personal hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with team members, communicate professionally and support a positive work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food preparation role.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work full‑time hours in a fast‑paced environment.
