About the role
Join a mission‑driven organization focused on climate‑focused innovation and entrepreneurship. As a Community Manager you will lead the growth of a vibrant startup ecosystem, fostering engagement, building strategic relationships, and delivering impactful programs and events.
Key responsibilities
- Design, execute and continuously improve community engagement strategies and daily operations.
- Mentor and support the community team to ensure high‑quality programs and member experiences.
- Plan, organize and oversee community events, networking sessions and other engagement initiatives.
- Build and nurture relationships with community members, partners, startups and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Develop outreach campaigns to attract new members and expand participation.
- Collaborate with program managers on marketing, communications and ecosystem‑building activities.
- Maintain accurate community data, monitor engagement metrics and produce regular progress reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
- 5‑8 years of professional experience, including 2‑3 years in community management or a related role.
- Experience in the climate sector, startup ecosystem, or both is highly desirable.
- Proven people‑management experience with the ability to lead and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Highly organized, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine passion for supporting startups and sustainable innovation.
- Willingness to travel periodically for meetings and company retreats across India.
