Community Manager – Remote (India)

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and continuously improve community engagement strategies and daily operations.
• Mentor and support the community team to ensure high‑quality programs and member experiences.
• Plan, organize and oversee community events, networking sessions and other engagement initiatives.
• Build and nurture relationships with community members, partners, startups and ecosystem stakeholders.
• Develop outreach campaigns to attract new members and expand participation.
• Collaborate with program managers on marketing, communications and ecosystem‑building activities.
• Maintain accurate community data, monitor engagement metrics and produce regular progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
• 5‑8 years of professional experience, including 2‑3 years in community management or a related role.
• Experience in the climate sector, startup ecosystem, or both is highly desirable.
• Proven people‑management experience with the ability to lead and develop teams.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Highly organized, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and genuine passion for supporting startups and sustainable innovation.
• Willingness to travel periodically for meetings and company retreats across India.
