About the role

The Auditor I is responsible for conducting on‑site audits of insured businesses to verify compliance with insurance policies and internal standards. This position involves gathering evidence, interviewing stakeholders, and producing detailed written reports for the insurance carrier.

Key responsibilities

Plan and prioritize physical audits, schedule visits, and review all relevant business records.
Conduct interviews and investigations to collect accurate information.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports and submit them to the branch office or quality review team.
Review audit findings with business owners, recommend corrective actions, and ensure implementation.
Revise and finalize audits returned for correction, maintaining strict adherence to audit standards.

Required profile

Strong analytical and investigative abilities.
Excellent written communication skills for detailed reporting.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments.
Attention to detail and commitment to compliance standards.
