Associate Director – Construction Estimating

About the role

The Associate Director will lead the estimating function for large‑scale construction projects, ensuring accurate cost forecasts and supporting project delivery from concept through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage full project estimates, including conceptual and final cost inputs.
• Analyze project actions, assumptions, and their impact on estimates and cash‑flow schedules.
• Prepare detailed material take‑offs, wage‑rate build‑ups, and subcontract bid analyses.
• Apply the CAES estimating system and integrate overheads, G&A, insurance, and other cost structures.
• Guide less‑experienced estimators and contribute to the Estimate Plan.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of construction project management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role on PMC projects.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project/Primavera, Revit, Navisworks, ACC and AutoCAD.
• Experience with the CAES estimating system and Earned Value Management (EVMS) concepts.
