Assistant Manager – Learning & Development (Cluster Trainer)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Learning & Development (Cluster Trainer) will lead training initiatives across multiple store locations in India. This role focuses on identifying skill gaps, delivering product and behavioral training, and ensuring continuous learning for store employees.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs analysis by liaising with stakeholders to identify product, technical, and behavioral skill gaps.
• Prepare and maintain a training calendar for all allocated stores.
• Deliver product, process, system, and behavioral training sessions to store staff.
• Coordinate with various brands to organize on‑site training programs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness on the floor and gather feedback.
• Prepare MIS reports for all internal and external trainings.
• Design training activities, including content creation and selecting delivery modes.
• Drive organization‑wide training initiatives such as Learning Management System (LMS) deployment.
• Monitor internal and external training delivery, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Partner with HR and the training team to enhance employee capability, skill, and knowledge levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in training needs analysis and delivery within a retail or similar environment.
• Strong coordination skills with ability to work with multiple brands and stakeholders.
• Ability to design and evaluate training programs and produce detailed MIS reports.
• Experience partnering with HR to develop employee capabilities.
