VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Architect

About the role

TCS is looking for an experienced VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and adoption of VCF solutions for its enterprise clients. You will work closely with customers to translate business requirements into robust, scalable cloud infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive VCF architectures aligned with best practices.
• Create detailed blueprints, specifications, and documentation for VCF deployments.
• Perform capacity planning and performance optimization for VCF environments.
• Drive VCF adoption across the enterprise by promoting its benefits and providing training.
• Develop strategies to increase VCF consumption and utilization.
• Engage with stakeholders, manage information flow, and ensure timely project closure.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of professional experience, with 8 + years in customer‑facing consulting roles.
• Experience in BFSI, system integration, or IT services is preferred.
• Willingness to work in a 24 × 7 environment as required.
• Strong client focus and ability to build relationships with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, NSX, vSAN, and VKS.
• Understanding of advanced physical storage and networking concepts.
• Proven troubleshooting skills on VMware products.
