Telecommunications Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Telecommunications Administrator to manage and support our global voice communication infrastructure. The role will ensure reliable connectivity across our international offices by administering a hybrid Avaya Aura and Microsoft Teams phone environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily administration of Avaya Communication Manager and Microsoft Teams Admin Center, including user provisioning, extension management and voicemail setup.
• Maintain Direct Routing and Operator Connect configurations to enable seamless interoperability between legacy PBX and Teams.
• Deploy, configure and troubleshoot SIP desk phones, conference room systems and softphone clients on multiple operating systems.
• Act as Tier 2/3 escalation point for voice‑related incidents, resolving call routing, audio quality and connectivity issues.
• Execute MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) requests for users across different time zones while respecting local numbering plans.
• Monitor system health using Avaya Aura System Manager and Teams Call Quality Dashboard and produce monthly usage reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation of circuit IDs, hardware inventory and internal configuration records.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience administering enterprise voice systems.
• Strong understanding of hybrid telephony environments and global move‑add‑change processes.
• Ability to work closely with senior infrastructure teams and support a worldwide user base.
