Technical Architect (Cloud & Platform Engineering)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Architect specializing in Cloud and Platform Engineering to lead the design, development and evolution of scalable, secure and high‑performing technology platforms for Bosch Global Software Technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Define end‑to‑end architecture for cloud‑native and hybrid solutions, creating blueprints, reference models and technical roadmaps aligned with enterprise standards.
• Lead implementation across Azure, AWS and GCP, designing and optimizing Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE) platforms, including GPU workloads.
• Design strategies for autoscaling, high availability, disaster recovery, multi‑region deployments and cost optimisation.
• Architect CI/CD pipelines, release strategies (blue‑green, canary) and drive Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Ensure observability through logging, monitoring and alerting, and embed security controls such as IAM, network security and data protection.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, guarantee SLA compliance and apply reliability engineering practices including chaos testing.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions and mentor engineering teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering cloud‑native platforms at scale.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Azure, AWS or GCP and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Deep knowledge of DevOps practices, IaC, CI/CD and cloud security.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and communicate complex architectures to non‑technical stakeholders.
