Team Lead – Shipping Documentation

About the role

The Team Lead will ensure swift, defect‑free documentation for our customers, guaranteeing that every document complies with SOP requirements and is delivered on time. This role is pivotal in preventing claims, penalties, and legal actions while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate documentation within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Meet vessel cut‑offs, productivity targets, and customer satisfaction survey goals.
• Handle customer queries, clarifications, and amendments professionally.
• Identify process gaps, collaborate with team leaders, and drive continuous improvement.
• Support migration and organizational change initiatives, ensuring successful implementation.
• Uphold company values, vision, and ethics in all interactions.

Required profile

• Graduate in any field; diploma or degree in foreign trade, imports/exports preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or freight‑forwarding documentation.
• Computer proficient with typing speed of at least 30 WPM and 100 % accuracy.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, effective verbal and written communication, and ability to work under pressure.
• Team‑player who embraces change and demonstrates a sense of urgency.
