Tax Consultant – Indirect Tax (Core) – Pune

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Consultant to join our Indirect Tax core team in Pune. The role involves delivering high‑quality tax compliance and advisory services to corporate clients, ensuring timely filings and effective representation before tax authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual tax returns and e‑TDS returns.
• Draft submissions and represent clients before tax authorities.
• Advise on outbound/inbound employee structuring, immigration, and provident fund matters for expatriates.
• Collaborate with senior tax professionals to deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
• Utilise electronic working papers and relevant software to conduct research and produce accurate tax deliverables.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all client interactions.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 0‑1 year of relevant tax experience.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and contribute to team performance.

• Proficiency in MS Word.
