Store Co-worker I – Retail Sales Associate

About the role

IKEA India is opening its first physical Small Store in West Delhi (Saket) and is looking for enthusiastic Store Co‑workers to deliver an omnichannel shopping experience. You will engage customers, share product knowledge and help them plan and purchase home‑furnishing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, understand their needs and provide tailored advice.
• Demonstrate IKEA product features, benefits and modular range.
• Guide self‑planning customers and conduct 1:1 planning appointments.
• Convert planning offers into orders and finalize purchases.
• Process returns efficiently and coordinate with matrix stores when required.
• Promote top‑selling and priority products to maximise sales and profitability.
• Maintain product presentation, merchandising and digital tools in the store.
• Uphold IKEA’s values, sustainability commitments and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Strong knowledge of selling techniques and customer behaviour.
• Results‑driven, business‑minded and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑player with flexibility and openness to change.
• Ability to organise tasks, manage time effectively and adapt to digital sales tools.
