Social Media Video Editor (Remote/Flexible)

About the role

iLEAD Kolkata is seeking a full‑time Social Media Video Editor who can craft attention‑grabbing, platform‑native short‑form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn and other digital channels. The ideal candidate combines strong visual curiosity with technical expertise to deliver high‑impact edits that align with brand and campaign goals.

Key responsibilities

• Edit high‑quality reels and short‑form videos for various social platforms, ensuring they feel current and engaging.
• Incorporate motion graphics, text animation, transitions, sound design and finishing polish as needed.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends, hook techniques, pacing, and internet culture to maximise retention.
• Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut and AI‑based tools to streamline workflow, add subtitles, and enhance footage.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining consistency and meeting turnaround deadlines.

Required profile

• Freshers are welcome; a strong portfolio that showcases standout edits is essential.
• Ability to take raw footage, understand intent and build a fine cut with minimal direction.
• Independent, accountable and capable of delivering quality work on time.
• Excellent communication and ownership of edits.
