Senior Systems Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our on‑premises and Azure infrastructure. You will act as a senior technical contributor on projects and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical server environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Windows and Linux server platforms, Active Directory, virtualization and backup solutions.
• Lead infrastructure projects from architecture through hand‑over to operations.
• Operate and optimise server environments to guarantee high availability and recoverability.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for complex incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Own enterprise backup and disaster‑recovery strategies, testing and compliance.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting and reporting frameworks.
• Apply security hardening, patch management and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
• Support ITIL‑aligned Incident, Problem and Change processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure with senior‑level responsibilities.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
