Senior Specialist – Transaction Services (Accounts Payable)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Specialist to lead global Accounts Payable functions within its Transaction Services organization. You will act as an individual contributor, driving process automation, financial risk management, and delivering innovative solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily AP operations across the procure‑to‑pay lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Resolve customer inquiries with high quality and speed.
• Communicate process issues, recommend improvements, and liaise with GBSC, regional, and business teams to maintain compliance.
• Evaluate financial and operational metrics, summarize findings, and advise senior leadership.
• Review the AP sub‑ledger, close open transactions, and ensure SOX control compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• 8‑10 years of AP experience in a global environment.
• Proven ability to manage diverse, multi‑functional teams and high‑risk issues.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and customer experience.
