Senior Software Engineer – Salesforce

About the role

Rootstock Software is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Salesforce to join its Bangalore team. You will design, develop, and deliver scalable solutions that power Rootstock’s ERP platform built on the Salesforce cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce pages, flows, and integrations while respecting Salesforce governor limits.
• Write clean, test‑driven code, create comprehensive unit tests, and promote best‑practice architectural patterns.
• Collaborate with globally distributed product owners, stakeholders, and principal engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
• Deploy solutions using CI/CD pipelines, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve platform stability.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentorship, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of full‑stack development experience on Salesforce, with additional Java and JavaScript expertise.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex tasks while guiding peers and influencing cross‑functional priorities.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Analytical mindset to solve multifaceted problems and anticipate system‑level challenges.

Required skills

• Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and clean‑code principles.
