Senior Network Architect – Enterprise & SD-WAN

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Network Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimisation of a global enterprise network. The role focuses on Aruba, SilverPeak (EdgeConnect) SD‑WAN and Cisco solutions, ensuring a secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive LAN, WAN, wireless and SD‑WAN architectures with emphasis on scalability and resilience.
• Create high‑level and detailed low‑level designs, and enforce network standards, policies and governance.
• Lead deployment of Aruba switches, access points, ClearPass NAC and Aruba Central management.
• Implement SilverPeak EdgeConnect SD‑WAN, including zero‑touch provisioning and traffic optimisation.
• Design and roll out Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switches, ISR/ASR routers, DNA Center and wireless controllers.
• Integrate security controls such as VPN, IPsec tunnels, segmentation and firewall architectures to meet ISO 27001, PCI DSS and HIPAA requirements.
• Research emerging technologies (Wi‑Fi 6/6E, cloud‑managed networking) and drive automation using APIs, Ansible and Terraform.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in enterprise network design and implementation.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to align network solutions with business objectives.
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), VLANs, STP, QoS and security constructs (ACLs, IPsec).
