Senior DevOps Engineer – Plant Maintenance & Project Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to support SAP Plant Maintenance, Project Systems and Project & Portfolio Management modules. You will work within BASF Digital’s global community, helping to deliver customer‑centric digital solutions and maintain related mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 2nd/3rd level support for SAP modules, analysing and correcting incidents and problems.
• Develop, debug and test SAP standard functions and custom programs.
• Participate in agile sprints, work on user stories, and deliver new feature development and testing.
• Coach and train team members to build competency in the SAP modules.
• Lead end‑to‑end project delivery with responsibility for all deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of software development experience.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Structured, independent, and conscientious working style.
• Experience with agile methodologies is a plus.
