AI Developer – Generative/LLM ( .NET Core, Azure, Semantic Kernel )

About the role

Sonata Software is seeking an AI Developer specialized in generative and large‑language‑model (LLM) technologies to modernize an existing agent‑based application. The role is hands‑on, requiring independent problem‑solving and rapid delivery under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain .NET 8/9 services, C# code, and Minimal APIs.
• Implement Azure solutions including App Service, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Managed Identities, and security best practices.
• Integrate AI components such as Semantic Kernel, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, and vector‑based RAG/embeddings.
• Set up telemetry and monitoring using OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor.
• Participate in kickoff meetings, agile sync calls, and deliverables reviews.
• Troubleshoot issues independently and ensure timely delivery of features.

Required profile

• Experienced developer with strong hands‑on expertise in .NET Core, Azure services, and AI‑driven application design.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, solve complex technical problems, and meet aggressive timelines.
• Familiarity with agent‑based architectures and modern AI orchestration patterns.
