Senior Corporate Counsel – Continental Europe

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel to support our Continental Europe operations. Based in Trivandrum or Bangalore, you will manage complex commercial IT contracts governed by Dutch and other European laws, acting as a key legal partner for our global IT services business.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate complex IT outsourcing, service, alliance, subcontracting and license agreements in English.
• Review proposals and RFPs, assist in preparing responses and support business development.
• Lead negotiations with customers and vendors across BeNeLux and continental Europe, ensuring compliance with internal policies and risk mitigation.
• Analyse legal and commercial risks, provide clear recommendations to business teams and senior management.
• Create standard contract templates, translate them into local languages and adapt to local law.
• Provide legal advisory to the global legal team and act as the local compliance interface.
• Monitor relevant laws and regulations and share knowledge within the global legal community.

Required profile

• 9‑18 years of experience handling high‑value, multi‑layered transactions.
• Strong contract drafting, writing and negotiation skills.
• Well‑organized, stress‑resistant and able to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep domain expertise in IT industry contracts and related verticals.
• Excellent spoken and written English, preferably gained through studies or work abroad.
• LLM or comparable Masters degree covering common law and European legal principles is preferred.
• Willingness to travel across Continental Europe on short notice.
• Basic knowledge of litigation is advantageous.
